Vale do Lobo Open Magnesium-K Active, the first international tennis tournament of the year in Portugal, begins this weekend at Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy, in Loulé, with a total of $25,000 in prize money.
The tournament is part of the men's ITF circuit calendar and is scored for the ATP world ranking, bringing together, in the qualifying phase, 22 Portuguese tennis players.
The Vale do Lobo Open Magnesium-K Active takes place between February 21st and 28th and is the first of three $25,000 international men's tournaments to take place in Portugal in the coming weeks: afterwards, the circuit goes to the Centro de Ténis e Padel de Faro (28 February to 7 March), until he returns to Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy (7 to 14 March). The events organized by the Clube de Ténis de Loulé, The Campus (Quinta do Lago) and the Clube de Ténis de Portimão were postponed to dates yet to be defined.
